Throwing some Punches

Yesterday was the Sneak Peak for Core De Force! This is a mixed martial arts style workout.  This was perfect for me! I pushed myself and had a blast.

My coordination will need a bunch of work, but it was still an awesome exercise.  Today I am SUPER sore! My calf and back muscles were worked hard. 

It’s funny to me that I have just completed Insanity Max 30 less than a month ago and I tried this workout and BAM! I’m sore!

I was going to start Hammer and Chisel about 3 weeks ago, however the household fell sick and I didn’t have the energy.  I wanted to be able to put my all into this program. So I started the 3 week Yoga retreat.  I didn’t think this would be anything that I would enjoy.  I love it! It is much slower pace than I really care for but honestly what is going on in the world now… we want everything handled fast! We don’t like to take a break.  We get slow service.. We get upset..  So it was nice to take a slower route and try and work on my breathing and getting my mind to calm down.

My problem is that my mind never stops! Do you have that problem?  I over analyze so many situations that really don’t need second thought.  I will post about my anxiety here in a few.

Insanity Max 30 Transformation

Here is my transformation with Insanity Max 30!

This program was intense and fun! Lots of cardio and strength training.  I wanted to post about it each day, yet life got in the way. I am sad to be done with the program (for now), yet excited to start the next program!

I gained more muscle and toned. What you can’t tell us how much more solid my muscles are. They are on their way to being rocks! I took before and after measurements to see if I would have any change.  Well my butt got 2 inches bigger!! I really needed some padding in the lower region! I had lost my butt after pregnancy! My calf muscles grew half an inch. My arms grew very minimal when I flex but they are solid.   

I did all this from home! With no equipment for 30 minutes a day!!

My Goal is to Inspire Someone Every Day!

Well it is has been almost a month since I have last posted.  We moved the computer from the living room to the office… so in turn I was less likely to bring myself into the office.

I am on day 34 of 60 with Insanity Max 30.  I just started month two with the harder month. I am loving this program! I have noticed my muscles are solid! Might not be able to see them all but I know they are there!

My endurance has skyrocketed during these workouts.  I missed a day this week and I felt so tired the next day. I have since made up the workout… and I have my energy back! It’s crazy to think that working out gives me that much more energy!

I visited with a friend this week that I haven’t seen in 6 years. She commented on how she is inspired by the workouts I do. She bought T25!! Her husband and her are going to start working out together!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE hearing that I am inspiring!

My goal is to inspire someone every day!

Maxed out at 10 minutes and 37 seconds

Ethan joined me for some of the exercises. Afterwards he told me this is an “insane workout and can make you crazy! That’s why they call it insanity”. Haha!! I’m proud of him for trying.

Decided to get my workout in while chicken was cooking in the oven.

I maxed out at 8 minutes and 38 seconds… I beat last week by 34 seconds… Plus I did the Country Heat workout tonight..

My kicks are a little higher and faster this week.. Didn’t have the energy like last week due to it being my 2nd workout of the day with in a few hours.

The makeshift desk is out of the living room now!! Next is all the toys!! Slowly but hopefully by this weekend our living room will be back to “normal”.

Tonight was an option night (Active Recovery day) . If I am going to get everything I want out of these programs I’m going to do them all!

Tonight consisted of some moves and then a stretch between! I made it the entire 20 minutes of the program. Thankfully because of the stretches!

Tried a different app to make my video… You can see more…. Added a bit of music.. Might not do that every time. Tonight’s music is called Sassy Girls.. Couldn’t pass that up!!

So tonight was pretty much moves from the week. There wasn’t a break until 15 minutes in and 25 minutes in. Now this may not seem bad.. It’s only a 30 minute work out, but holy moly your legs don’t stop moving! I maxed out at 11 minutes and 35 seconds (Burpee with the lungs at the end got me). I tried to make it to the 15 minute mark. Hey I had a goal.. I didn’t make it but guess what.. Next Friday I’m going to beat my time! I’m going to push harder!

Before starting this program, I was super nervous about it. Lost of self doubt! Now I know I will rock month 1! Now.. Month 2 scares me! I’ve heard that if your goals don’t scare you then they aren’t big enough!

Now on to hair…I stink at doing hair but I have got to figure something out for when I work out. I’m not cutting it. Lol. As it stands now I use 3 hair ties to try to hold it in place and it just feels like this big floppy thing on the back of my head. Thinking I need to start wearing a head band too! I went back to just a pony tail for one exercise and well it was basically a face swatter! Not much fun.♥ Funny to see the play back though.

Holy Moly!! I maxed out at 14 minutes and 44 seconds. Very proud of myself. The first half seemed like a piece of cake when I got to the second half! My arms are STILL shaking an hour later!! ♥
 
I gave it all I had tonight! I kept pushing! LITERALLY.. There seemed to be a million different kinds of push-ups!! I’m still working on my form for regular push-ups .. Now I’m doing all these insane ones(insane to me)
 
I just can’t say how much I love this program! ♥I mean don’t get me wrong it’s intense and I am nervous but I love it. I can tell something has changed with me! My whole mindset is totally different these past 4 days since beginning! I just smile when I talk about this program!

Day 3 – Sweat Intervals with Insanity Max 30!!

Maxed out at 9 minutes and 27 seconds! I tried to make it to the 10 minute Mark for the first break! Squat lunges 2nd time around got me!

So the first video is the last few seconds of my 30 minute workout!! I was pushing to make it through. I was exhausted, sweating, feeling the burn.. But I kept moving! Some times its so hard to tell yourself to keep going when you are feeling the burn and just exhausted. I promise you this that you will feel accomplished and proud of yourself.

Shaun T is Awesome! Keeps you moving! You burn the entire time! He is someone I want to talk to me while I’m working out. He motivates me!

Event free tonight!! Enjoyed my Shakeology now getting ready to read a little personal development and go to bed. I choose to work out at night before bed… So I will push myself harder at night knowing I can go straight to bed! Some rather get up early and workout.. I’m a night owl.. Everything’s better at night. Lol ✨🌝⭐️🌚✨

Day 2 of Insanity Max 30- Tabata Power.

So.. Let’s just say tonight there were events after events! But I kept going!!
1st Event-I was doing alright in the beginning.. At 7 minutes and 4 seconds my internet froze!! Ahh!!! Our lovely Florida thunderstorm to thank for that. Lol. So I wasn’t able to go to my “max”. That took a few minutes..
2nd Event- My phone ran out of space!! ahh!! So of course I tried to delete some and upload a bit to my computer to get room to record.
3rd Event- Evan woke up during the few minutes of uploading the photos.
4th Event- While photos were uploading I decided that there was enough space to record while uploading… So the phone was Ina different place.. Ended up cutting my head off for the whole exercise. Granted most of tonight I had my head out at some point
5th Event- Evan woke up during the workout again.. So ran to get him back to sleep.. Arms and legs shaking!! Get him to sleep and my right leg is just dead asleep! Lol almost fell flat on my face. 🙂
6th Event- Finished the last 5 minutes of the workout. Needed to finish making space on my phone so I could edit/crop the videos to post.. While photos are uploading, I started making my shake… Guess what.. Evan woke up again!!!! Went scooped him up. Finished making my shake.. Came back to put him to sleep and drink my shake.
7th Event- An hour later Evan is back asleep and I’m finishing uploading my photos. Q10 minutes later loud thunder wakes him up AGAIN! Go and scoop him up and hoping my phone is done soon.
8th Event- Catastrophic error when the photos were almost done! Ahh!! Oh by this point I’m just ready to turn the computer off…
9th Event- computer won’t shut down until updates are run! Say what! ( my husband thought I wanted the computer restarted so I can finish the photos.) So he tries to bypass the updates and restarts… Well it decided to run the updates! Oh boy! So the computer is left running and still trying to get child to sleep!
I’m still smiling though!
So tonight’s workout had many unexpected breaks.. Which I’m not sure if working out all the way through is harder or having to jump back in after cooling off after a certain amount of time.
My legs were not on fire tonight.. My arms were the rough parts. I got some of the arm workouts but oh they burned!
I really like this program. Ready to see what tomorrow brings!
Hopefully you get a little chuckle out of my events tonight. I tried to see the humor in most of it. Now I’m just ready for bed and have a wide awake toddler.
